Best Hands in the business since 1889. The BAC has been representing skilled craftworkers in the masonry trowel trades in Washington and Alaska. Our members include bricklayers, stone and marble masons, tile setters, terrazzo workers, pointer/cleaner/caulkers, refractory workers, countertop installers, shop workers, and tile/marble/terrazzo finishers.
The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (IUBAC)
The IUBAC founded in 1865, is the oldest continuous union in North America, representing nearly 75,000 skilled trowel trades workers across the U.S. and Canada. BAC members include bricklayers, stone/marble masons, cement masons, plasterers, tilesetters, and terrazzo workers.
International Masonry Training and Education Foundation (IMTEF)
IMTEF provides training, certifications and continuing education programs to employees of employers signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
Northwest Masonry Institute
Founded to promote masonry construction, provide educational and technical resources, and provide a point of contact for masonry design and construction professionals, the general public, and mason contractors.
